I don't have any of the information of who these people are. It's in Columbia on my dresser I'm guessing. This is one of the angles I wanted to get before the day started. Most were photographing the horses making the jumps and coming across the finish(which was probably more important with their task). I wanted to get a hard perpendicular shot. It was a little tricky focusing with horses coming by you at 35mph. And no I didn't prefocus because I shot them at 45 degree angles coming and going.
This shot doesn't have any modifications but a levels adjustment. I rarely post photos that do not have a lot of processing done to them.
I also wanted to mention the races. The main race was a $75,000 winner. I did shoot the finish on it. Burst mode and JPEG's....The horses name was 'Top of the Bill'...he was actually in 3rd place on the last jump. Somehow through the next few shots(which was less than a second) he had passed the two leading horses and won the race. I was told they wanted the winning horse coming across the last jump. Turns out that wasn't the best shot since he wasn't in the lead at the time.
