Back In February

I took this back in February....i meant to post it but it got lost in the shuffle at some point....i figured I could reprocess it since it was taken so long ago....i ended up processing it the same way...i had a hard time trying to figure out the crop on it though.....i originally had a 1x1 crop which put more emphasis on the girl... This is a great image with a couple of issues. The light at the top of the singer's eyes have a little flare - the tiny light spots highlight the odd lighting from the right. I might have cloned those highlights out.

However, that's a minor nitpick. This was difficult lighting coming from the right and so close to the subject. I might have been tempted to up the shutter speed, but at 1600 that might have been pushing it too hard.

As it is, it captures the intensity of the singer's style, grace and concentration in fine fashion. The slight washout going from light to dark is a minor issue.
