Detroit Airport III

Another one from the Detroit Airport series. I think you can get a better idea of what that tunnel looked like in this pic. It was very surreal and pretty cool to say the least. I couldn't find anything on the internet about it. I just wish I would have had my tripod with me. With a tripod I could spend a little more time in this tunnel. So if you ever have a layover in Detroit. This might be something to pass the time...

I like the blur of the people on the sides. Did you have the people in the center stand still or? Where in the airport? I come through DTW every now and then and didn't know about this. It's kind of like Chicago's O'hare airport...

no, they were just the people in the airport at the time passing by....i believe this tunnel was connecting terminals A and B....

Great pic! There is a LONG connection tunnel at Atlanta's airport where I had the same thought: Dang, I wish I had a tripod. Awesome colors.

Cool atmosphere. It's amazing how new lenses (I don't know about the one you are using) with gyros are able to help you steady a shot. I love my IS (Image Stabilizer - Canon) lens.

the colors and shapes are so interesting.

I hate flying. I am always so stressed in the airport I don't think I could ever get a great shot like this.
