970 Vintage

i have been sitting on this one for a while....i guess i'm somewhat satisfied with it.....in my opinion i don't think vertical images work well for the web..... think these same guys are meeting up tomorrow....i might have to go check them out once again....
Camera: Canon EOS 20D (Canon)

  • I agree with you completely on the vertical image issue. It's a shame as I tend to take more photos in that orientation.

That's one shiny car. The curved reflection of that building really sets the shot off. I think you could've gotten away with a closer shot, with more of the reflection, and less of the street background.

  • yeah, completely agree with you and Leeroy on the vertical thing, and yes it's a shame (ssss..) ... so, i tried to look at your image in square (bottom only) and it really works well !!! the reflections and shadows and textures of the road are pretty cool...

  • Loving the tone here, great shot!

  • A great reflection on a hot looking set of wheels. Is that your shadow on the sidewalk?

  • I like it. Showing the street scene with just half the car leaves a person wanting more and yes, look at that shine. I don't know what color the car is, but if I saw a car that color I'd want it.

  • Hey man, i never get enough of your car shots! They're always good!

  • Well the format of our monitors are to be blamed for the vertical format not looking as good as the horizontla. Great shot though.

  • I agree with you completely on vertical images. Got a mental block against it.
    Great car shot as always.
