Burnt Out

Burnt Out

Nothing like humbling yourself with a self portrait. I've been absent a few months. I wouldn't say I was away from photography in the least but just not in the blogging scene. It's funny coming back and taking a look around at the community. Seems like a lot has changed. Many of the known photographers are doing the same thing as I, on hiatus...maybe some permanent. I have the desire to keep blogging. I think it's the key to staying at the top of your game in this relatively early stage of digital photography. I actually found two new things I want to do. I'm going to convert my holga into a lens for my 20D. I'm also going to make a contraption to take pictures through the viewfinder of the Yashica. I should really get some funny looks with those. • Ash, glad you're back, don't get lazy, your way too good. This self portrait is very cool. Amazing, i've been thinking of shooting TTV too! Have you seen those guys on Flickr? It's awesome! Look at this guy:

  • Your post echoes my situation right now. Too much work going on, not enough time for blogging (or in my case any photography at all). But I got some rest and I'm back, maybe with some changes...and I'm glad to see that you're back as well. Looking forward to more photography.
